Its function is very much similar with the "favorites" that is located on your tool bar. Instead of keeping your favorite links under "favorites", you can keep them in "My pages".

The special thing about this yahoo service is "Tag". You can catergorize your links; therefore, you can easily locate the one that you want to find. Another cool thing is that you can find shared links from other people.

The layout of the page is very simple and easy to use.

Yahoo My Way enables the "Save" function when you are searching with the Yahoo Search Engine. It gives you the option of categorizing and organizing your bookmarks in one central location, online.

In addition, it is capable of importing your existing bookmarks on your computer.

This is not a bad site to store your favorite sites and bookmark things you find on the net. I see one benefit from this service, the ability to store massive amounts of favorites for later searches. I don't think the average person has so many favorites or searches that they will require tags or a search history to help them out. Perhaps another benefit would be to share your own site with other Yahoo searchers around the world.

I'm not sure I would use the community feature. Seems like you can do the same thing with a blog and smiliar services like myspace.com.

The My Web page doesn't feel or look user-friendly and just seems cumbersome to navigate through. For example if you wanted to add a page, you would have to cut and paste the link or type it in. Perhaps insatlling the toolbar would make things easier?

The Yahoo My Way allows users to save and annotate Web pages. With the upgraded MyWeb 2.0 it is possible to now share that saved information and see what others have searched for and collected under the same tags. This is a really cool idea because over time communities that use Yahoo My Way will build their own search engines occupied with the collective experience of a group of people with similar interests. This creates a social circle of friends, family, co-workers, or people with similar interests. It uses this social circle to create communities in which people can get together and build the search experience.

Yahoo! My Web. How interesting. An account where you can "tag" or bookmark your most favorite website online that you can also share with others publicly. Being able to share, you can also see results related to your site topic such as "Washington" or "Blog." There's also the option of saving others to your "tag" inventory. When you have multiple tags under one topic title the font is bold and bigger than the other terms.

And in tagging you have three groups, your own, the people you have contact with personally and people from all over the web.

VERY creative!
