Information that is not available on Google.

As a result of participating in the scavenger hunt, can you think of information that is available publicly- but not through a Google search? What is the nature of this information and why is not available through Google? I need a paragraph on this topic.

My thoughts on this statement is that any information can be accessed through the functions Google offers. There are several features avaliable to web users on Google that aid in the search of obtaining information elsewhere, if not directly linked from Google to the source of information.

Information that is not available on Google is private like sites that require a username and password to access. This is also information that you have to access through certian areas like using google's group search instead of the web search.

The information that is not availabe required passwords. Other information that was not availabe is when you had to find things through scholar, or group searches.

I would assume information on the "intranet" would be on the web but would not be accessible through Google. The reason this information would not be available through Google is because it would be password protected, hence only authorize people would have access to it

I believe most information is retrievable through Google. The only information I was not able to find was due to individual website requiring membership to get the information.

Information that is password protected or require log in information would not be available on the Google Search.
I experienced that when I tried to serach for UWB course evaluation. I cannot locate any information upon this subject in Google Search, as it required my net ID to process. I finally found this information under the UW search website.

Some information that might be restricted for security reasons or commercial reasons, like Fortune's 500 list are not available on Google. Some information might only be found in physical libraries or archives becuase they are not permitted to be on the internet or or difficult or impractical to post.

Google's features and performance attracts me at an astounding rate. It is remarkable to see how Google already handles more than 100 million search queries a day — and is looking for new ways to connect people with the information they need, whenever and wherever they need it. Google reaches out to us with a never-ending need for knowledge — students, educators, and researchers.

There are many companies out there which we can not have access to them through google or any other sites because they are password protected. Confidentiality is what is the most important key that these company do not want that all the people have access to all of their companies information. For example when a company is producing new products then that company does not want other companies know about the strategies and techniques, so those information are available only for their own employees.

It may be hard to find information on Google because you may be required to log in to access a page or a fee is required. Other information not available on Google are web pages that are disconnected from other pages because no other pages link to it. There may also be information in the format that can’t be easily read by the spider, and Google may not be able to find it, which also makes for unavailable information.

The information that is not indexed on Google include information that are protected through membership on various websites. In addition, to find the information you need, you need to be in the right category when searching. For example, we had to visit groups.google.com to search for the inquiry you requested for.

Lastly, information can only be searched for on mediums supported by Google.

Not all information can be accessable through the internet because of authorization (use of password and identification), therefore a fee may be placed in order to obtain it. Another concept is each search engine is unique. Some might not have all the capability that Google has in services and is limited to what can be found. Others may be specified to search certain areas Google or some other search engine has not thought of looking. Therefore, there are many different search engines--one may be more helpful than others. And lastly, keywords are also important in searching information. If you don't have the right ones, you can't find anything.

As many other sites there is information that is not available on google too. To me it shows that that information is confidential to that particular company or topic and Most of the information is pass word protected to be accessed by certain type of group of people. I think this is the reason that professors mostly prefer databases sources such as ProQuest to find the information that cannot be found on the Google but it is available on the web.

Not all information can be found using Google, and not even all the information available on the Web can be accessed with Google. The material that is on the Web that has been excluded from search engines, specifically from Google, either on purpose or due to other limitations. Other information that is excluded from Google is material that is password protected.
